- Seriously, how is Quest Diagnostics the best we can do? The consistency of their terrible service, absurd scheduling requirements and limitations, and the general go-fuck-yourself attitude of its employees should have driven it into the ground years ago.
- I see arguments against policies that help trans folks because they're only a small percentage of the population. Say, 1%, maybe. So what is the cutoff for human rights protections? 5%? 25%? Or is it just a $$ thing? Seems the upper 1% in $$ don't mind policies that are to only their benefit. 🤔

- Oh, hey, you know how #veteran suicide rates are already too fucking high? Der Fuhrer 47 and his hateful administration are killing people. Trans people matter, are worthy of dignity and respect. This is fucking tragic.
- Freezing all federal grants, even those already obligated, is unconscionably cruel. I know cruelty is the entire point, but people are going to suffer and die while the GOP dances on the remnants of the country.

- Highly recommend this outstanding exploration by @barbmcquade.bsky.social of how our democracy is being dismantled from the inside. I only wish that the people who need to know these things would be willing to learn them. (I also wish I could divest from Amazon, but one miracle at a time.)
