- The Fleet, Chickerell. Usual suspects of Slavs, Long-tailed Duck, Great Northern Divers & Black Redstart. My patch year list did at least move to 97 species.
- The Fleet, Chickerell. Best were singles of Peregrine, Red-throated Diver(off Chesil) and a single Teal. Otherwise, following still present, 5 Slavs, Long-tailed Duck, 2 Great Northerns, Whimbrel, Atlantic Brent Goose & Black Redstart. Patch year list now 96 species.
- Seawatch from Camp Road again today. Highlight was a flock of c.10 Purple Sandpipers that flew East off Chesil. A patch tick for me. Otherwise, 4 Red-throated Divers were the only birds of note. Patch year list moves to 95.
- Seawatch from Camp Road this morning produced 3 Little Gulls, 2 ads & 1st-w, 3 Red-throated Divers, 1 Great Northern Diver, 7 Common Scoter & 3 Wigeon. It also pushed my patch year list to 94 species.
- Dirty, filthy twitching today. The Killdeer at Ripley Farm Reservoir, Hampshire. A well overdue new bird for me. That rump and tail pattern is just stunning. Super bird. Plus a bonus adult Little Gull. And relax. Bloody hate twitching. Far to stressful.
- Cracking day on patch at Littlesea, The Fleet. Highlight was finding a ♀️ Desert Wheatear in Bridging Camp. ♀️ Long-tailed Duck, 2 Slavonian Grebes & singles of Atlantic Brent Goose, Whimbrel & Water Rail, plus a Harbour Seal made up the rest of the highlights.
