- The mental health system is under immense strain. Something has to change. This review is a chance to understand what’s driving the increase in mental health problems. This must not be used as a way to justify who deserves support and who doesn’t. 1/2

- Dear UK government, your Autumn Budget made some good moves – scrapping the 2-child limit will lift thousands of children out of poverty, and investing in Neighbourhood Health Centres could help communities thrive. 🧵 1/6
- Poverty is one of the biggest drivers of poor mental health – so this work really matters. But there was no mention of mental health at all. And here’s the problem: there’s still no clear plan to tackle the mental health crisis. 2/6
- No published strategy. No guarantee of adequate funding. No promise to cut waiting lists. No commitment to deliver Young Futures Hubs everywhere they’re needed. 3/6
