- Always better not to have trodden in the dog shit and walked it into the carpet than to promise a thorough job of cleaning the carpet. The stench fills the air. And you need to be much more careful where you tread in future.
- Watching the final (part of the Worricker trilogy, having recommended it I realised it’s been an age since I’ve watched it. Bill Nighy is so cool. Helena Bonham Carter is so gorgeous. Saskia Reeves is as brilliant as she is in Slow Horses. Ralph Fiennes is so evil.
