- My first finish of 2026 is deeply silly but I’m still happy with the likeness I was able to achieve of this Elrond and Frodo Lord of The Rings meme! I added a ribbon border to fit the matte board I chose (and somehow wildly missized), and like how the brass frame sets off the piece!
- Reposted by Antonia KeithahnHappy #NationalBirdDay Here are just a few of my hand embroidered bird themed artworks. Find all my work on my website www.emilytull.co.uk #birds #BirdArt #embroidery #WildlifeArtb
- Nearly have his whole face done apart from the rest of the jawline and the forehead, then onto the curls (and avoiding the hands). #HeatedRivalry #Embroidery #BeadEmbroidery
- I will continue to over-update because I am loving this piece! It’s probably the most emblematic of my mosaic bead embroidery style so far with the placement of the beads. #HeatedRivalry #BeadEmbroidery

- I’m so pleased with how this is turning out! The high-contrast lighting is making my beading options so much more dynamic. #HeatedRivalry #ConnorStorrie #Embroidery #BeadEmbroidery
- Reposted by Antonia KeithahnIt's fascinating to see the changes in one company's logo over the years.

- WILL be updating my daily cursing of every shitty feature I am forced to use at work (or have to spend time disabling, unclicking, ferreting out how to thwart) to Microslop.
- I have largely resisted Reels and it 100% has limited my reach on Instagram, a platform which now disincentivizes non-moving and audio-free posts.
- The shadows are going to help this portrait come together.
- Reallllly pushing the limits of how small I can realistically bead embroider but I do feel like this looks like Connor Storrie so far. #HeatedRivalry #Embroidery #BeadEmbroidery

- My #ArtVArtist2025 featuring a few faves from this year! All bead embroidery: Lady Gaga, Irving B watermelon head, The Reluctant Bride, and the “This is fine” dog. Embroidery and mixed media: Chappell Roan, Kim Kitsuragi, Fun Feast, Oh, Mary! and the Severance MDR team.
- Reposted by Antonia KeithahnI hate how everything is now labeled “ai” to make it sound sexy, but the innovation seems to be “we’ll send this info to cops.”
- Got a perfect shaft of light and caught this image of my bead embroidery of The Reluctant Bride. You can actually see the beads sparkle better in the half-light.
- Impossible to get photos of this, I think partly because of the low opacity muted color story.
- Finishing up the edge on this bead embroidery piece before delivering it to my client in a couple days!
- Me: “I got so much done today in the car!” After reappraising at our destination: (clown honks get increasingly loud)
- This was a delightful trip through my own art archive and a great way to find other creative folks on here! Thanks for hosting and brightening up the season, @jayispainting.earthskyart.ca!
- That's it for me for #artAdventCalendar 2025. Thanks to all 630 of you who participated. We finish with over 8500 images with 97% AltText usage. That's remarkable. Know that you made a difference to someone in the last 24 days. Sam approves.
- Merry Krampus to all! I never took a finished photo of this ornament because I was rushing to get it in the mail, but this was a fun stitch up last year.
- #ArtAdventCalendar Day 24 I haven’t even completely finished yet but I consider my bead embroidery masterpiece: a beaded version of Auguste Toulmouche’s The Reluctant Bride. I beaded this in 4 sections and transferred and joined them on the backing fabric which is in a stained 16” quilting hoop.
- To the tune of "Pink Pony Club": GAY HOCKEY SHOW!
- Enjoying the difference in stitch directions on my Lord of the Rings collab embroidery.
- #ArtAdventCalendar Day 23 is this bead embroidered panel from KC Green’s Gunshow comic. The most famous panel is the dog only beginning to ignite while saying “This is fine.” but this one seemed more apropos for 2025. 🔥 This was completed with 11/0 delicas and 15/0 seed beads.
- Back at this and accepting that it is just going to look absolutely wild until it’s done (and maybe then as well!)
- Reposted by Antonia KeithahnSculpture by Korean artist Do Ho Suh, 2010s-20s, whose fabric structures recreate the places he has lived, reflecting on broader concepts of migration and what makes a "home".
- #ArtAdventCalendar Day 22 is my portrait of Inky! I wanted to highlight this embroidery because capturing features with black fur is a challenge and the reference image was small and lower quality so I’m extra pleased with how she turned out! 🖤
- #ArtAdventCalendar Day 21 is my embroidered and beaded portrait of Chappell Roan that I completed earlier this year for a monochromatic art prompt! 💚 This might be the best hair I’ve ever embroidered and I loved working with this limited palette.
- Reposted by Antonia KeithahnIt's your birthday, Duane.

- #ArtAdventCalendar Day 20 is another #Caturday offering: three portraits in one! I stitched this for a friend who had adopted these three brothers and it was my first multi-portrait and to that point the largest hoop I’d ever used!
- Actually the only things keeping me going rn
- Here they are all together! 🍄🟫🌲☘️🪶🐟
- Reposted by Antonia KeithahnI finished all my Christmas commissions of bugs which means I can get back to painting a lot of bug! I love doing these bigger collection paintings and watching kids try to identify them all.
- #ArtAdventCalendar Day 19 is one of the more eccentric pet portraits I’ve done because the subject was wearing a wig, pearls, and a little coat! I love how the turkey work brought the coat to life! 💗
- My final bib is a Chinook salmon from the Klamath River! These have had a resurgence after recent dam removals and are a classic Oregon symbol. I love how the light pink border really sets this fellow off!

- Reposted by Antonia KeithahnLast year’s winter embroidery. A poinsettia and cardinal. I went through a lot or red thread and experimented with different shades to try to mimic light and shadow. Meh. I tried. #threadpaint #fiberart #hobbies #womensart #threafpainting #birds #random #keepingbusy
- I am furious at the US government’s latest attempt to eradicate trans people and punish those that provide them care so #ArtAdventCalendar Day 18 is a beaded pair of trans flag hearts. The hearts are edged in beads representative of each member of the couple that I created this piece for. 🩷🏳️⚧️💚
