- Furlong not making it had a knock-on effect on Edogbo's selection imo. Convinced Farrell to double down on experience and backrow cover. Either way, this has the feel of a long, long night in Paris this Thursday night.
- I think McMillan will look at one, maybe two new coaches in the forwards. I'd see Cronin going back to the academy pathways.

- We had no right to be anywhere close there. If it wasn't for a diabolical performance at halfback and on the wings defensively in the first half we could have won that. Tough night for some guys. Showing they have no business at this level, unfortunately
- Evan O'Connell, Sean Edogbo, Gleeson, Quinn and Wood — they are the thing tonight from that, with the bonus point. The squad needs a huge overhaul but you fundamentally cannot win a game with a halfback performance like that.
