- On this day in 1989, the album Dylan & the Dead was released. A 7 song collection featuring Bob Dylan and the Grateful Dead recorded live during their 1987 tour. Dylan sings his songs while the Dead play "backup" band.

- Just heard the sad news that singer-songwriter, and founding member/lead vocalist of Three Dog Night Charles 'Chuck' Negron II passed away yesterday in Los Angeles, California at the age of 83.
