- 1/3 A follow-up to investigating the graphical origins of #Armenian, #Georgian, and #Caucasian #Albanian #alphabets - It seems that the numerical values of letters (based on position in alphabet) correspond to #Greek. #matuww #linguistics
- 2/3 However, I am not convinced that the letter forms actually are derived from it, even from its cursive forms, as they differ too greatly, especially when drawing in comparison with other Greek-derived scripts such as #Coptic and #Cyrillic. #matuww #linguistics
- 3/3 I will therefore not include the #Armenian, #Georgian, and #Caucasian #Albanian #alphabets in this project because of this. Time to move on to the other #Greek -derived scripts. #matuww #linguistics
