Congres, like Parliament, passed statutes making a class of citizens natural born who weren’t born within the territory of the realm/country. But there is a default assumption that born in country = citizen.
Yeah. I get the statutory basis for some of this. I was just inquiring into the constitutional citizenship status of kids born to citizens who are living outside the country. Thanks.
