- #ONEPIECE1159 i know we were all eager to see the god valley incident, but i'll be honest, this hit me like a truck. the way oda showed it, you can truly feel the absolute despair of those people. it made me genuinely sick. i hadn't cried this much in a while with one piece.
- my one piece musings of tonight: elements - at least devil fruit elements - are kinda nerfed in the OP world. for example, despite having the light fruit, i don't think Kizaru has full light speed. he would be unbeatable, nothing is faster than light. as much as we can factor in +
- his stalling and ragebaiting in the slowness of his attacks, even when he's serious, characters are still able to get at least SOME reaction time. even if they can't dodge him. my headcanon is that elements are just nerfed. let's see the next example: Enel deals MILLIONSSSS of +
- volts in his attacks, and many characters survive it, albeit KO'd, and remain mostly fine. next one is fire: Burgess took a TON of fire to the face fighting Sabo and not only survived but was also mostly unscarred. many characters take Hella fire to the face and brush it off.
- so in my little world i headcanoned that the elements are severely nerfed in the world of one piece.
