- Reposted by John EmmettI found myself quite productive recently, just didn’t take any photos. But I did this weekend! #wargaming #spreadthelard
- Reposted by John EmmettWhat a cracking day. Ebor Lard ‘25 was a great hit! 12 players representing 12 different factions fought across 2 large tables in a VBCW game. Invading Soviets, raiding Scots, rioting Dockers, communists miners, pesky blinder criminals, fascist BUF, royalists, etc. you get the idea. Beautifully mad!
- Reposted by John EmmettPainted some 15mm Panzer Lehr for the latest Lardy PSC. 3 Sections each including 2 teams of 4 men with an MG42 and a JL. Two SL's and 2 Panzershreck teams (just in case I need them). On to the vehicles next 😀 #spreadthelard #chainofcommand2
- I finally finished some things. More of the @hicksy.bsky.social Polish Paratroopers, and some dug-in ones made from @warlordgames.com plastics. All set for my Chain of Command game at #HMGS Cold Wars. #wargaming #miniaturepainting #spreadthelard

- Reposted by John EmmettI cannot begin to tell you how angry this makes me feel (there’s a lot to be angry about in the world and maybe it’s selfish because this feels personal). I don’t know what line se must have been on Donald but it definitely felt like a lot of people were trying to kill us.
- Reposted by John EmmettOur blog posts get auto-posted to social media. I don't use FB myself, but went in there to post this. I don't expect to see similar attacks from any Bsky users, but figured I should elaborate on my personal opinion here.

- Reposted by John EmmettIn a prelude to our planned VBCW mega-game, a convoy of Dickinson & Morris Ltd supply trucks supported by Police & BUF Auxiliaries must make it through the village of Wetwang. Dockers from Hull and the Castleford Miners Union try to stop them. In the end they fought the law but the law won!
- Reposted by John EmmettThis is really gross.
- Reposted by John EmmettThese were the last miniatures of 2025. Really enjoyed creating this little vignette, especially the chap holding up the severed head with a smitk on his face. As usual lately the shields are hand painted, the figures are Footsore, Victrix and A&A and the backdrop is by @handiworkgames.bsky.social

- Alright @tomjmegan.bsky.social, I'm in for the #FestiveTankChallenge2025. I work at a glacial pace, so there's no way I'm finishing on time, but I'll gladly post obnoxious WIP updates. 🤪
- Reposted by John EmmettOkay, time I come clean after four years. The introduction to the SS painting guide I did which contained what is apparently a trigger phrase, 'The Nazis were the bad guys,' was bait. It worked exactly as planned; this is *the* most disliked of any of my videos. Let me at last elaborate.
