- I'm really starting to wonder if Caja Rural isn't spreading itself too thin. Only 26 riders on the team, and they are set to start in a whole bunch of stage races, including Tour, Tireno, Dauphine, Catalunya, Basque and a bunch of 2.Pro races.
- And if you don't have a top 5 GC candidate, those one weeks don't really earn you significant points. Especially if the team picks up a few injuries, this could be a very anonymous season, in spite of the invites.
- It could even get them in trouble with the top 30 ranking. The gap to the likes of Bardiani and Solution Tech was big, but not insurmountable.
