I weigh the cats every Friday and Marcel was heavier than Francie for the first time tonight! And he still has a few months of growing to do. My tiny morsel is growing into a large dollop.

Honest question. Do you have a good technique for weighing a cat? When our kitten was sick, we got a bread scale and mixing bowl and had to weigh her everyday to make sure she was gaining weight. It was a whole routine of getting her to sit still long enough to accurately weigh her.

The sleepypod bed / carrier has the pod's weight printed on the side. My vet loved it because it was so easy to weigh my cat while she was comfortable in her travel bed! Best carrier / bed ever! sleepypod.com/products/sle...

They are expensive, but so worth it. It was Althie's safe space. It replaced her carrier and became her favorite bed. It has a soft washable liner. Perfect for car trips! It also makes vet trips much easier. But they are really pricey. :(
