I weigh the cats every Friday and Marcel was heavier than Francie for the first time tonight! And he still has a few months of growing to do. My tiny morsel is growing into a large dollop.
P.S. It's a good idea to weigh your cats monthly if you can! Weight fluctuations are often an early indicator that something is wrong. Weekly is probably overkill but mine both have FIV so I am always fretting and want to pick up on any trends super early. animalwellnessmagazine.com/why-you-shou...
Can you recommend a good scale for this? Or do you just pick up a cat, get on a human scale, then put him/her down and get back on the scale, noting the difference?
(I used to get my cat's nails trimmed at the vet to get a weigh in as well, but we don't anymore for a few reasons.)
