Been reading some stuff on Twitter about Jonas potentially having a pretty hard crash today. Nothing official from the team or anything but really praying it isn’t true and or okay. Really don’t need this set back for the team.
Finally. A bit of salvage there at the end to get at least one stage win. Think it was Schiffer who was extremely strong pulling the break back with 3+ks to go.
Idek what to say on what Visma is doing this race.
Not really sure what happened to Brennan there. Seemed to be in decent position and had the whole team working all day and didn’t contest the sprint. Maybe a leg issue not sure? Have to admit if he doesn’t come away with a stage win it’s been a pretty disappointing TDU.
Feel for Sarah tho. What a ride. Def really excited about her future at Visma. Maybe not the result she wanted but one of the strongest in the race for sure!

Well the Tirreno route looks very soft. Ik like others I was surpised Jorg didn’t do Paris Nice. But with Tirreno have a TT and a couple punchy ish finishes. He could def podium or win. Prob gonna be all about the TT and bonus seconds.
Quite surprised that Jorg isn’t doing Paris nice considering it suits him and classics considering how good he is at them. But ig this is Visma trying to spread their riders out and make their Ardennes team was more competitive. Ig we just have to trust the team and they know what they’re doing.
Apparent Fiorelli schedule will start with TDU, Strade, Tirreno, and then Giro. Think this further confirms that Brennan will also go to Giro with Jonas. And Brennan will prob also do Tirreno.
Anyone else a little concerned about Visma women team only having 15 rides after what happened with Fem. Last year they had 18 and with 15 it’s gonna mean a lot of races days for them and not a lot of room for injuries etc?
Any idea of what’s happening with visma women’s team? They have only 14 riders on pcs and I haven’t seen any news about other signings? Also haven’t heard anything about Linda who id expect they want to resign but haven’t heard anything?

Overall good ride by Barry. Very interested to see the rider type he develops into. He kinda reminds me of Ganna in a way. Strong time trial ability. Good classic rider and it seems he has a pretty good sprint as well.

Really excited to see the Deutschland tour with Wout and Brennan there. Also excited to see how Van Kerchove goes. Obviously not gonna prob get any great result but excited to see how he goes helping the team. Very promising devo rider getting a chance with the main team!
So Jonas and matteo both gaining 40 secs. Kuss lost 2 mins and Simon 6:30. Ig all in all u take Jonas and Matteo taking time on everyone. And Kuss not being too far. Simon losing alot of time is a little bit of a bummer.

I’d say Visma looked good there. Impressed with Tulett a lot! Did not expect him to be this good especially with his TT yesterday which I thought he’d do better. Not surprised about Kuss. Not his terrain yet and we know he’s there for week 3 of the tour.
Hot take I don’t think pogi looks that good. Rn I feel like if he felt good he would of attacked yesterday and he didn’t and I don’t think he looks amazing on the TT so far but I could be wrong
