- Revisiting Sonic Mania for the first time in years. Hydrocity Act 1 still pisses me off, man. It's not a bad level on its own, but it doesn't feel like Hydrocity.
- I've played the classic games alot over the last few years, and this playthrough is kinda just reaffirming my preference for 3&K. Mania's levels can be thrill rides, but sometimes I wanna slow down, explore & look for giant rings and the game's like "why the fuck would you wanna do that? Go go go!"

- I still need to play Earthbound in full. Started it with a friend on NSO and then just never got around to continuing. My experiences with Metroid have not been great. Splatoon I enjoyed the first game and fell off harddddd with the sequels, and Xenoblade... I like everything but the dang combat.

- Time for my obligatory Direct predictions thread... though as usual, with Partner Showcases I really have no idea what to predict. Usually my regular Direct predictions are just based on what teams haven't released stuff in a while, but with 3rd parties, there's a lot on the table. Let's go.
- First off, I'll get my most basic ass prediction out of the way: Some kind of 3rd party NSO drop. We just got GB yesterday, but it was two small 1st party games. I could see some more Rare games happening, or some big GameCube game... Fuck it, I'll predict Sonic Adventure DX and Sonic Battle.
- - We're coming up on a year from the release of Yu-Gi-Oh Early Days Collection, so another Yu-Gi-Oh collection wouldn't surprise me. Either the GX era games, a World Championship Collection, or hell, there's enough DM-era games to fill a 2nd collection. - Speaking of Konami, MGS Collection Vol 2

- BotW is absolutely the better game ...Frontiers is more replayable though. BotW/TotK took over my life for weeks/months and are unforgettable experiences, but I'm content with my memory of the games being just that, memories.

- Well that's good. Means it should also be compatible with any similar 3rd party headset if you don't wanna shell out for the overpriced replica. Granted, I'm getting that because I want it, for the novelty... but I might also look into something with a headstrap that'd be more comfortable to use.

- God, the SD card on my Steam Deck loads so slowly now. I need to look into if it's not formatted right or if I just need to go back to the previous card, because this is... borderline unplayable. Games installed on the internal drive are fine, it's just the SD card.
- What baffles me though is that this is only a recent issue. The card worked just as well as the old one for months, same brand (and a legit one, not one of those bootleg SD cards). But in the last week or two, everything off of it barely loads. It's awful.
- Update: Formatted the card. Seems like it's working now.
