- New files reveal that guru (and former UCSD Prof) Deepak Chopra and Jeffrey Epstein exchanged hundreds of messages. In them, they spoke of "cute girls," and sex. In one instance, Epstein offered to send "two girls," to one of his events. Chopra accepted.
- Amid crippling housing costs, San Diego Unified has gone full YIMBY. Officials have greenlit proposals to build an unprecedented ~2,500 units on district-owned land. That would be a larger K-12 portfolio than any in the US and 3x what's been built in all of CA. It may just be the beginning.
