- The seep cave we encountered in Kolob area of Zion NP. One of the more remarkable features, which is kinda saying something considering it's Zion. Crazy beautiful
- West Rim trail from Lava Point down in Zion NP. 12+ miles of incredible natural beauty
- Had our first "no-go". Hiked up to entry point, did a risk assessment, and decided to return another day. Disappointing, but safety first. Nice hike down, beautiful day.
- 2 people, 2 ropes. First rap req 2 ropes, big rope drag/stuck potential. Further complicating, has to be releasable anchor (ghost), and we really didn't have enough webbing to rig properly. If ropes stuck, could hike back to top to retrieve, but would be left with no rope for next 2 raps.
- It's been raining in Zion. Splashy fun all day.
- 3 days till Zion. Gear's ready, permits purchased, now the wait...
