- Finished watching the Alien movies box-set tonight and I'm actually surprised at how much I liked Covenant. I dismissed it after watching the trailer back in 2017, but it's honestly really solid! Prometheus on the other hand, still makes me mad 😒

- just came back from watching Frankenstein and I'm just so, so grateful that Del Toro is still out there making sincere and beautiful art (even if I had to fistfight netflix in order to get physical tickets to see it)
- also, it may just be me, but the creature's design, especially in the beginning with the huge fucking hood and the big ass shoulders on that cape/robe and the scraggly bits hanging off him? That shit silhouetted against a dying arctic sun? Absolutely Peak 10/10, made for me 👌
- Just watched Look Back and I cried snot and laughed a lot, please please please watch it 🙏 it completely flew under my radar until now but it's incredible, the runtime is really tight and it's wildly relatable if you grew up drawing
