- I’m sure the DOJ has already gotten their directive but it is kinda funny he’s now being like actually 🤔, I don’t give af deadline.com/2026/02/trum...
- Ellison is probably bugging him too much. Like he’s definitely called him WAY too many times over this.
- Happens in #TheIndustry all the time. You get to ask your friend for a job TWO times before it gets annoying lol
- 💀💀💀
- People will argue with you that he was “always soulless” whatever the hell that means and it’s like okay? Your point is business people used to be driven by *building* things and since 2020, it seems like bizarrely their only drive is to destroy.
- Like the original founder of WaPO was a virulent racist who owned a plantation and he wanted to CREATE a newspaper. It’s very very odd that basically all the rich people now except for Altman (and yes, fuck AI but for the sake of argument) seem dedicated to ending things.
- It really drives me crazy how many well meaning people think punditry, forming an opinion on information, is the same work flow as investigating/reporting, finding the information to begin with.
- The powers at be in addition to regular civilians have created and supported a system where pundits leach off of the investigative/reporting of an established system and argue they can replace it. Your favorite YouTube/TikTok comments upon information gleaned by NBC, WaPO, NY Times, Condé etc.
- Pundits on the right and left can argue all day long that the mainstream media is a failure and regardless of whatever critiques might be valid, you would have nothing to talk about without their work. Soon you will have very little underlying foundation to what you feed your subscribers.
- Even five years ago, it would drive me crazy that few people seem to understand this. Like all this alternative news is high on their on supply. You sit in front of a front facing camera and yap about an article you read on the internet. Half of them don’t even leave their homes!
- Idk why the too online proletariat thinks CEOs and the C-Suite barely work. They work crazy hours. It’s middle management that doesn’t do much 💀
- Maybe the CEO of a car dealership family business that has been around for generations doesn’t work much. That I can’t speak to. But any Fortune 500 company and those people are putting in beaucoup hours. It doesn’t mean they “deserve” 50mil a year tho lol
- There’s a lot to say but cutting the sports section…..?????
- It’s like sure, why not lol
- What your romantic life looks like is highly variable, but we need to ask why it’s become “normalized” to swear off having one at all. Asexuals don’t @ me. It would be odd to swear off friendships or a “work life”. These are all things mammals do?
- I just can’t think of anything more emblematic of how socially broken things have become post COVID, but it’s difficult to discuss because it makes you sound aligned with right wing obsessions.
