- Dragon Quest VII Reimagined Metacritic Averages: Switch 2 - 82 (Based on 7 reviews) PS5 - 81 (Based on 21 reviews) The 3DS version of Dragon Quest VII is one of my favorite games in the series. I'm looking forward to playing this one too.

- I beat Mario & Luigi: Bower's Inside Story on 3DS. It's a really excellent remake. This shouldn't have been AlphaDream's final game for Nintendo.

- The Legend of Zelda 40th anniversary is 20 days away. I don't think the Fujibayashi Zelda Team or Grezzo are ready with brand new games, but I think Nintendo will do something for it.
- Square Enix Creative Director Tetsuya Nomura shared concept art and a special message for the 29th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII. FF VII's battles were initially envisioned to take place in the environment in real time, but they weren't able to achieve that.
- I think the upcoming (heavily rumored) Nintendo Partner Showcase could have at least two Square Enix announcements. Dragon Quest VII Reimagined releases next week and The Adventures of Elliot is the only other game with a 2026 release date. They are due.
- Super Smash Bros. Brawl released 18 years ago! This was the first game in the series to have guest characters: Sonic and Snake Brawl really prioritized all the extra content that Smash has subsequently become known for like the music.
- Final Fantasy VII released 29 years ago on the original PlayStation! It's release sent shockwaves through the industry, signaling that the west was ready for more JRPG localizations. It also marked the end of Square's relationship with Nintendo for a time.

- The Tomodachi Life 3DS Direct back in 2014 was hosted by Bill Trinen. He hasn't taken part in a Nintendo Direct in a long time, but I hope he's in the Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream Direct.
- The Last Story released 15 years ago on Wii. Directed by legendary Square Enix Developer Hironobu Sakaguchi. A fantastic RPG that I'd love to see get a release on current platforms.

- Resident Evil Requiem releases in one month! This is the first Resident Evil game to come to a Nintendo platform at launch since Resident Evil Revelations on 3DS in 2012.
