The Mid-Geek Crisis
Well, another one.. let’s see how this social media goes.

- Finished a top cover and bottom for my GPD Pocket 4
- Film you’ve seen more than 6 times. Hard mode: no LOTR, SW, Marvel, Trek..

- Sadness. Met her at PAX a few times and VCF. What a legend. RIP Rebecca.
- I seriously hate AI and what it is doing to people and kids in particular. Working at a school, is horrifyingly bad right now, with AI. But I have a kiddo who is autistic and socially distant. Been dealing with him in his teenage years and chatbots. This is 100% uncharted territory folks..
- The amount of garbage and exploitive AI out there is staggering. Mining kids for info, and breaking even socially and developmentally. I’m playing a losing game of cat and mouse and it’s scaring me folks.. is anyone out here dealing with this?

- Don’t really get to do the whole meet and greet thing very often. I’m a 43 old man and it just seems kind of awkward to fanboy over a YouTuber. But one of those that I love to follow is @bob.thewulffden.com because of his demeanor form of comedy and his huge love of coffee. So seeing him at PAX..
- Got to share my love of handhelds. He got to see my little restored Libretto up and running. Plus he signed my steam deck. Also.. he gave me one of the keypads. Ordered the bom today. I hear he likes photography too. @bob.thewulffden.com need to buy you a coffee next year.
- Was able to pick up a fantastic deal on a LUMIX GF9. Quickly got some English menus on it. Mmmm
- USB-C PD is definitely one of the coolest things to happen. Wired a barrel jack plug to a USB-C PD module to ask for 15v. Running my Toshiba Libretto 50CT off a power bank is awesome. Also was able to over lock it to 133mhz. Might add a diode to push it to 166mhz. Also, 1 of my 50CT (have 2) ..
- Has a 120mhz Pentium downclocked. That one should hit 200 easy. Might try that. But I’m reprinting a case thanks to @polymatt.bsky.social
- She’s alive! Toshiba Libretto CT50. Wooo
- @craftcomputing.bsky.social great new video. Been rolling my own Bazzite machines for a few months now. So good. But you mention the 3050.. is NVIDIA working any better these days in Linux/SteamOS?
- Ok, I have a dream journal request universe. The movie we need right now. The movie the US needs made right now. Is a live action Wolfenstien and I need BJ to be played by Alan Ritchson. Him killing Nazis for 2+ hours.. would make me so happy @bethesda.net and @idsoftware.bsky.social make it happe
- Closest we have gotten. youtu.be/V1MxHMGLc3M?...
