- I have finished my latest read a few days ago... And I cannot stop thinking about it. 'The house of Fury' by a colombian author and journalist Evelio Rosero - so provoking I fought myself to put the book down knowing I can't stop reading the disturbing, guiltily engaging reality it opens us into.
- One of my goals for my reading journey was to expand my knowledge of culture, ethnicity and religion by having a diverse selection of unconventional authors from all over the world. Evelio Rosero is an amazing introduction to South American contemporary thriller... though, not for the lighthearted.
- Absolutely kept me up at night; the metaphor can be taken in so many ways... Yet impossible to get a solid opinion on until the very end. My final idea of the ending was the thin line between forgiveness and sins, and the final scene a way to portray God's punishment done with others' hands Amazing.
- So... What's up, bluesky? It's my turn to see what all the hype is about. First impression - super friendly, some amazing people out here. Let's get to know each other slowly; get ready for some good books, films, mythology and more nerdiness. Also a ton of cats.
