- Trying to compile my thoughts on Prime 4 so here's some rambling. I think the NPCs are accidentally genius. Not because they're well written or useful or even impactful, but because they really help sell why Samus would rather feed herself into a wood chipper than have a partner in any other game
- I really don't know how i feel about the scanning bloat. I think it's cool that they put the effort into letting you scan things multiple times when they change state, but it really bogs down some of the pacing when you're not sure what scans are actually important for the completion percent
- The morph ball is my favorite part of this game. It feels like they actually fleshed it out to be more than a glorified crouch button. You can actually use it in combat to an extent by bowling enemies over with the boost. And they let you just. Pick up the bombs! With your hand! And throw them!
- Weather has been a nightmare the last couple of weeks and I'm getting so many flood alerts for areas just close enough to not be relevant to me that I'm starting to tune them out, which feels like the worst possible thing these alerts can do.
