Proud husband and dad. Serving California's 49th District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Environmental attorney, clean energy advocate, and SoCal native.
- This should be a bigger story. A Reagan-appointed judge just ruled Trump’s Energy Secretary illegally ran a secret panel of climate deniers to cook up a biased report and sabotage clean air rules.
- Donald Trump lost the 2020 election. Every court, every audit, every recount proved it. He knows it. Yet he’s spent years bullying officials and poisoning trust in our democracy to prop up a lie.
- Now he’s enlisted Tulsi Gabbard, who has abandoned any principles she once had for whatever relevance she can muster, to meddle in law enforcement and give his conspiracy theories a veneer of credibility. It’s desperation and dishonesty. Enough.
- The Trump administration tried to fire civil rights staff, got blocked, then paid them to sit at home for nine months. Cost: up to $38 million. No greater “efficiencies” achieved, just wasted taxpayer money and weaker protections for kids. Total and complete incompetence.
- Right now, Trump is “only” talking. But what he’s talking about matters. Article I, Section 4 of the Constitution gives states—not presidents or parties—control over elections.
- Calling for Republicans to “take over” voting is unconstitutional on its face. It’s a warning sign of a dangerous power grab built on debunked fraud claims. Every American should reject this completely. www.nytimes.com/2026/02/02/u...
- A top U.A.E. royal secretly bought nearly half of Trump’s crypto company. Months later, the U.A.E. was approved to receive sensitive U.S. AI chips. Trump’s family reportedly pocketed close to $200 million. No clear separation between public duty and private profit. That’s not “America First.”
- Trump turned the Kennedy Center into a political vanity project, chased away world-class artists, cut attendance in half, and now wants to shut it down for two years with no clear plan, no transparency, and no accountability.
- After firing staff and driving donors and performers out, he’s calling it “renovation.” It’s cultural vandalism and a taxpayer-funded cover-up for his own arrogance and mismanagement.
- This is truly absurd. A sitting president is demanding $10 BILLION of taxpayer money from the government he runs, because a rogue employee went to prison for leaking documents that exposed years of shady finances.
