- a rare art update from me. Still a WIP, but I’m now happier with the body plan of these alien creatures. They are native to Ona, a fictional planet I introduced in a post a few months back. - After months of iterating, I finally feel committed to this body plan. They changed from weird “trident” hexapods, then to pentapods, then finally to tripods. While challenging, I’m glad I pursued a limb count less than 4– it lead to designs that feel much more “my own”.
- More variations, specializations, and explanations of this body plan will be shared down the road. They’ve been conceptualized and mostly drawn, just need some finalizations.
- I was almost in tears while at work today (it’s been a week), then an elderly patient called and talked to me over the phone about random things for like 20 minutes lol. Normally problematic, but it saved me today by resetting my brain. Thank you, random old guy ✨🫶
