- My man Skratch Bastid played this today. It's impossible to pick a favorite Earth, Wind, & Fire song, but this one's in the conversation. Love that Just-Ice sampled that opening section in "The Desolate One" www.youtube.com/watch?v=xspA...
- Life on Youtube as a creator can basically be summed up as getting a lovely comment from Roger Watkins' nephew on your Last House on Dead End Street video, followed immediately by some rando telling you he's tired of videos talking about films that inspired Alien like you give a single solitary fuck
- It's early, but so far 2026 feels like 2025 Part Deux. I never thought I'd long for the sweet boring days of 2012.
- My new favorite thing is every dipshit chucklefuck thinking literally everything is written by AI. I mean, it only stole all of our work to get where it is. but sure. I was writing professionally when AI was still a fantasy of dystopian sci-fi, but sure.
- Like it's not enough for the assholes to steal your work...but then you gotta listen to morons basically insinuate that your own work came from the machine that literally stole from you. What a fucking bleak time to be a creative.
- The funniest shit is you'll then get some brainiac who's like "I asked ChatGPT to write a script on your idea and it's very similar" like no shit? Where do you think it learned from? Oh right...I forgot that crowd is convinced the word slot machine thinks and has feelings...
- We're kicking off the new year with a Grindhouse Gospel ep on Chuck Norris' The Octagon! How many ninjas can Chuck kill? How about all of them. :p
- The biggest takeaway from the new Youtube channel is people are profoundly media illiterate (even worse than I'd thought) and completely incapable of reading a film beyond the most surface-level plot details. It's really kinda heartbreaking.
- God, I miss DOOM.
- Oh hell yeah!
- This little guy is in my backyard today. He’s about 3.5 feet.
