- Call to action in Norfolk on Monday 30th to say NO to Israeli bowlers at Hopton Potters Resort!
- Israeli bowls player, Daniel Alonim, has been invited to play at World Indoor Bowls Championships at @pottersresort on 13th January 2025. This goes against the UK government's commitments to kick apartheid out of sport under Gleneagles Agreement.
- Alonim is a former IDF soldier who runs a landscaping business clearing Palestinian land for the occupation. His presence should not be welcomed by UK sport or UK gov which is duty & morally bound by both the Gleneagles Agreement & ICJ ruling to take steps to end the Apartheid state.
- This includes a clear commitment to discourage competition between their nationals and teams, players or sporting organisations from apartheid states like Israel. Follow the link to sign our open letter to get WBT to kick apartheid Israel out the completion: actionnetwork.org/letters/no-i...
- Reposted by Show Israeli Genocide the Red Card📢 CAMPAIGN ALERT! 📢 Show Israeli Genocide the Red Card and Scottish Sport for Palestine can now reveal that 3 Israeli bowlers are due to compete in Norfolk on the 10th and 13th of January. Two will be competing against Scottish bowlers.
- This is Itai Rigbi, due to play Scots Kieran Ward & Mark Renwick at @pottersresorts.bsky.social in Jan at World Indoor Bowls Champs. Scotland must discourage sporting contact between national players from apartheid states under Gleneagles Agreement. Please sign: actionnetwork.org/letters/scot...
- A wee reminder to please sign and share widely to say NO Israeli bowlers playing in the UK!
