- Growing up in Reagan's America, we could at least be convinced that the secret to success was being good at things and working a hard 40 hours a week. I can't imagine that young people today can possibly think that from observation when cheating, cronyism, and simple failure to give two shits about
- NO BLANKETS in Minnesota winter. You all know how cold it's been there, now imagine sleeping on a concrete floor with no blankets.
- My office has been flooded with reports of the cruel, unsafe, unlawful conditions inside of the Whipple detention facility in Minneapolis. This weekend, I was finally granted access to perform oversight of the facility. youtu.be/0SxPn8n2Bfg
- When my grandfather was in a Japanese political prison during WWII, they were frequently punished by being doused with ice-cold water -- but they had blankets. It's literal torture. It is making me crazy to think my government is doing anything like that to innocent people in my name.
