🚨 The British Medical Association has today Condemned what it called the Supreme Court’s “scientifically illiterate, biologically nonsensical ruling” They will continue to affirm the rights of trans and non-binary individuals to live their lives with dignity, having their identity respected. - Reposted by Abi ✨🌹It looks like the FWS judgment has, predictably, emboldened some “equality law experts” into using dehumanising language to describe trans people they don’t like. The Supreme Court didn’t give you a licence to be rude, bigoted or cruel. Solidarity with trans people dealing with this bullshit.

- Great idea! I have a trans coloured saltire pin I bought two of at a pride event, one for me and one for my cishet partner. I used to wear it often, but I removed it along with other political badges for an interview and didn’t reapply. I will make sure to dig it out and start wearing it more now.

- I know this doesn’t mend anything but I will always advocate for trans rights as a Labour member. It’s is only right and moral to do so. I believe it’s better (for me) to be in the party and push for change and for what is right rather than to walk away & let others take over.
