- Yann Tiersen in Manchester. Brilliantly bonkers set, 45 mins of twinkly angular solo piano straight into another 45 minutes of angry ramshackle analogue techno, wonderful.
- Agnes has made a new friend. This greedy little sod has been scoffing all the birdseed we put out for the past few months, and is now probably more tame than this cat
- And another one, this is a different squirrel, you can tell because its ears are less tattered and also it doesn't know how to get up to the bird feeder so it just sits and taunts the cats

- Post-lunch charity shop find: original bonkers version of Mah-na Mah-na, 1977 repress so older than me, bit crunchy but plays ok. B-side is a rather nice bit of instrumental 60s lounge/easy
- Had the house to myself all evening so I did some acid
- Also now up on SC. It's a bit crunchy, but it was live, I'd had half a bottle of red, and had spent half an hour figuring out how best to record the thing so didn't want to re-do it. Still quite pleased with how it came out though

- I'm sorry Mr Pazuzu but you really can't be leaving naked flames out like this, some of these artifacts are irreplaceable. Also you need to get safety lighting and at least a couple of extinguishers in here, don't get me started on all the weird spiky stuff in the cellars, no handrail either, tsk
