- im v excited to share my #PixelArt contribution to the @theyetee.com 's stickermoon subscription box, "Nature is Healing"! This design was inspired by sunflowers' ability to clean up radioactive contamination; not only a testament to nature's resilience but also its literal ability to heal
- rly struggled to get the renderiing just right,,, as these were to be printed stickers, i wanted the pixel quality to POP!!! i ended up changing the palette several times throughout the piece and switched between diff anti-aliasing techniques
- the industrialization of war has had devastating environmental impact. while art can be an important form of escapism/comfort, it felt important make something that recognizes that war is an inescapable, persistent reality for many. i hope i did the subject justice
