It’s not that you can’t be harsh towards art you think is poorly made, everyone’s entitled to their approach. I just personally have my own reservations. I just kinda grew out of the whole artistic lolcow watching phase of my art journey like 5-6 years ago and never really looked back.
Basically do what you want and whatever your comfortable with but you also have to contend with an accept that there will be pushback. Be comfortable with giving the level of critique your willing to receive.
