- Did I just have a great class on Coleridge?? Why, yes I did! What a delight.
- Just glanced at the alum list for major at my BA alma mater while trying to remember someone’s name, and it’s amazing what all these people do “with” a Comp Lit degree. What lies the peddlers of “workforce readiness” sell! What vapid screeds about the no-futures of humanities!
- Chapt 3 brings the story of Raymond, who interestingly seems to have some of the same qualities as Lionel’s father, but in perverse exaggeration. Just like with Adrian, L encounters him first by report from others. Lionel is long enough away from home to prove himself in society. #LastMan200
