And put it at the bottom of a stack of heavy books, how long should it take to flatten out? (B) Will this work? Will it flatten out?

One of the great mysteries. I definitely do similar things to try and flatten books to varying degrees of success. However, I have found that if you cram enough books onto your shelves, you can just ignore the problem! 😂
