- Now, if I were to ever offer signed prints of the Mister Gotcha cartoon for the first time ever... people who would theoretically want one would want the whole cartoon or just the last panel?
- While the artist always envisions their work being deeply contemplated and adored in full context, the fact is the last panel is what is iconic. It is a "meme" and as such that panel now exists as its own object, having reached escape velocity from its three sibling panels. I accept this reality!
- I would never gallop onto the internet and declare Toxic Avenger one of the five best comics of the week. If others say that, however, I will gladly pass it on. Hate it? Think it's the 39th best? Let me know and I'll share your take too.
