- doesn't it feel like youtube doesn't know why people liked it?
- every few months the guitar world explodes about "oh my god these guitarists are faking videos for parts they can't play live" and almost every single time, they end up picking a gutiarist that /can/ play it live and saying "well /i/ think they can't" are there not enough real problems?
- the drama this time seems to revolve around ichika nito. the problem seems to be that his videos are too good and clean and that he can't play them live... except his 30 second videos are clean because he repeats it until he gets it right and there are hundreds of videos of him playing it live
- when the target was lucas mann and he did everything he could to ptove that he was playing live when he was on stage and the goalposts kept moving and pundits who couldn't build their own career said "well /i/ think he's faking it" to get clicks just because you can't play it doesn't mean no one can

View full threadit really seems as though so much music commentary these days is built around internalised self esteem issues it's anger at things they view as better than them making them feel inadequate it's human to compare yourself to others but it's not their problem that you haven't hit your goals yet
