- Cultural norms are so funny. I'm rereading the Odyssey and at one point Ody is at an island and their head is like "before we send you home we will show you what we are best at and because we are the best sailors thats dancing" then they dance and Ody is like " Damn that's some great dancing"
- Looking at that from today, it so easkly shows that the dichotomy of how we view sailing as manly and dancing as feminine is just nonesne we made up for the modern world
- As an academic I would add Gen AI also erodes critical thinking skills at a time when they are more needed than ever
