- Building tools for myself 👷♀️ I project manage across tools - GitHub, Asana, SharePoint Lists, etc. Which makes it hard to quantify work and time block across clients. Working on a "hub" to bring it all together and make life easier 😊
- 2016. I used to be cool.
- Reposted by Tanya ShapiroI'm insufferable, but in a fun way. Funsufferable.
- i'm too lazy to update a powerpoint every month. so i guess we're gonna learn how to work with xml in R so we can automate this sucker. what lazy task is motivating you to learn new things today?
- and yes, i know {officer} is very handy (i'll take a package anyday over xml) - but there are some things that don't work with my use case. 🙃
- Reposted by Tanya ShapiroAnd despite it all, this is Tehran 🇮🇷
- 💚🦁❤️
- Late to the party (as usual) but Claude Code is pretty mind blowing. Of course - back of my mind I'm also thinking of this scene from Silicon Valley.... www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0b_...
- Restoring my well of inspiration 📚📈
- love when an enterprise saas company makes changes to their APIs without giving a girl a heads up. guess we're in reactive plumbing mode today 👩🔧

- I offered her an end-of-year promotion and she said yes! Could not think of a better way to start of this new year. Love you KK 😘 @kweest0n.bsky.social
- As a new homeowner, I feel myself entering my professional designer era 💅 It is a very expensive era…

- A perk of being self-employed: no cringe corporate holiday parties.
- Moving into new home this weekend. I have the opportunity to redecorate my office. If I can make it happen, it would be really cool to put together an art wall with some pieces from #rstats artists. Not all have online shops. TBD on logistics 🤔
- If you’re a homeowner, what are some things you wish you’d known early on? #askingforafriend
- Reposted by Tanya ShapiroI ignored the strip.clip argument in #ggplot2 for way too long 😲 Combined with a small negative margin tweak, you can place facet labels inside each panel. A tiny trick that makes small multiples feel so much cleaner. 🔵 no manual coordinates 🔵 inherits theme styling 🔵 scales nicely when resizing
- For the data folk out there doing all the thankless work that keep companies afloat: - cleaning dirty data - maintaining leaky pipes - building out dashboards so ppl can export to Excel - explaining why reports don't match, etc etc I see you. I appreciate you. You are better than any AI tool.
- Just for fun, I built some interactive visuals to follow the Warner Brothers bidding war drama. Tracks stock prices over the last 30 days for Warner Brothers, Netflix, and Paramount alongside a timeline of key events.
- Pros and cons to every career decision. But seeing all these return-to-office mandates only validates my decision to go independent. The best perk - I can work where and when I want. #beyourownboss
- Like a fine wine, baby. Me & Miss Peaches spent a lot of time together. Etta has a way of recentering my soul.
- T-19 days until closing 🏡 The first time homeowner jitters are kicking in. I am equal parts stressed and excited.

- I aspire to be as badass as Karen Wheeler. #strangerthings
- What. A. Turkey. The fact that we’ve politicized science is beyond me. The fact that this guy, an ACTUAL physician, was the deciding vote for RFK… shameful. So much for that Hippocratic Oath. The dude you appointed is doing irreparable harm. www.cnn.com/2025/11/23/p...
- told myself i'd never get in too deep with insurance work again. but after seeing way too many agency mngmt/policy admin systems with lackluster UI/UX, i could be persuaded to get back in the game. just waiting on @kweest0n.bsky.social to say yes to launching an insurtech startup w me... #saywhen
- it's probably a terrible idea, but -

- Reminder to get your flu and COVID shots before holiday travel. Don’t be like me and wait until you catch it this season. On day 5 of recovery. This is rough. 😷
- My LinkedIn feed is now filled with JSON vs TOON content for LLMs. A girl likes one post, and the algo gets wayyy too eager.
- Such. A fun. Panel. If you missed it and want to listen in, the recording is live! Thank you Observable team for hosting 😊 www.youtube.com/live/ciV3q3w...
- Happening tomorrow!

- Pretty amazing initiative by Instacart 👏 They've made it easy to connect you to local food banks. Build a cart of most needed items and get it delivered directly to a food bank near you. Donating made easy 👇 www.instacart.com/store/hub/co...
- This shutdown is starting to have major consequences. But we can still play our part to help those in need. If you have the means, you can help by donating to orgs like Feeding America or your local food banks. www.feedingamerica.org
- The next experiment: making this Shiny doc gen app work with an LLM. First time playing around with the R openai package. Safe to say, I'm blown away 🤯
- PS. Fontawesome, I see you charging a premium for the sparkles icon. It's fiiiine, I'll make do the magic wand instead 🪄
- I really enjoy tool building. A use case that comes up a lot in my world is dynamic doc gen. Sharing an example of how you can leverage the powers of Shiny + R markdown to create something bespoke to your needs. Use case below to generate contract docs ✨

- My journey so far as a solopreneur: Year 1 - no $ yet, relationship building phase, focus on creating an online presence Year 2 - finally landing clients! learning & revising product offering Year 3 - consistently busy, automating admin work to maximize client hours
- So what’s next? As I’m heading into Year 4 I’m seriously considering whether or not to bring on partners to help this growth trajectory. A lot to think about. Exciting and terrifying, but maybe this feeling is normal? Option C: I quit to become a full time trophy wife @kweest0n.bsky.social 💁🏻♀️
