Brooke
they/them, having fun posting about stuff I enjoy
- I finished Heated Rivalry and it was really fun and good
- People claiming LLMs are sentient are like someone playing the Sims with free will turned on going "holy shit, they're alive, they can actually think for themselves"
- You should be able to opt out of seeing gambling ads on any streaming platform and it's insane that you can't
- Reading The Bald Eagle by Jack E. Davis
- I saw two bald eagles in flight while crossing a bridge in the city at sunset last night. I feel lucky that I get to see them so often here
- went to a really fun party last night and some of my husband's coworkers were there, including one who had been telling him about that show. I mentioned to her that we started watching it and she was DELIGHTED and wanted to talk to me about it a bunch
- LRP mine was also reset to English-only for some reason
- holy shit
- I almost fainted several times. At one point I actually broke out into a full body sweat which has never happened to me while watching any movie before. I have to keep retyping this post because my hands are still shaking. AND I LIKED THE MOVIE
- I was wondering recently if there are ever accommodations to help deaf people watch hockey and then I saw just now that they have an ASL version of the Stadium Series game going on right now, that's cool. I like that it has a "crowd energy" meter too
- I'm watching the Sharks vs. Flames game and I just noticed that the Sharks' goalie Nedeljkovic has Jabberjaw on the side of his mask. I do personally hate Jabberjaw but that's hilarious
- Ideally I would pick someone in another division or conference but the Sharks are just cool, I might not be able to help adopting them as my second team
- Enjoying how spirited the Sharks announcers are, they love their boys
- We started watching Heated Rivalry. Apparently several of my husband's female coworkers have recommended it to him recently
- I guess I'll reserve my final commentary for after I finish the entire season, but I'm already having thoughts about the criticism I've seen of this show vs. how I'm actually perceiving it so far
