- Today's with OpenHamClock.com... Experimenting with the "Dockable" layout, featuring resizeable and draggable panels with tabs. Promising, but looks rather empty on a 4K display. Yes, I can fill it up with POTA and Contests but I'd rather it be able to display multiple space weather parameters.
- Yes, it is indeed a biggie...
- It's busy out there for US government and military flights. Even AF2 in the mix, perhaps off to the Olympics in Milan. Here are four flights seen in snapshots at 0620z.
- Maybe some auroral action tonight for SW BC / NW WA State. May only be camera-sensitive.
- Heating up! On the space weather front that is. Stay tuned.
- The security nightmare that is Clawdbot / Moltbot ... www.computerworld.com/article/4125...
- Lovely capture from Russian weather satellite METEOR M2-3 at 10 AM this morning as it passed nearly directly overhead for Vancouver. Not much vertical range but did just manage to capture Mount Baker (at bottom, centre). TV rabbit ears antenna, @Nooelec LNA and SDR. @spann.bsky.social
- More heavy metal moving back and forth between the United States and the Middle East. Here we have four USAF C-17A Globemasters, as seen over Europe at 2245z. Tracking in ADSBexchange. Feeding ADS-B data from Vancouver to multiple tracking agencies.
- OpenHamClock to the rescue... In an effort to preserve the amazing work of WB0EBW, we are seeing an equally amazing and rapid rollout of the vestiges of a replacement, should the original HamClock shut down in June. Check out the amazing work already completed at openhamclock.com
- Correction: WB0OEW.
- OpenHamClock running in a web tab and cast to the big screen. Second shot shows HamClock running as per usual off a Pi. Amazing what has been pulled off so far by the talented OpenHamClock team.
