That’s a good initial corporate strategy. The book ‘Enshittifcation’ lucidly explains why corporations quickly discard that model once they have you hooked.

Tell that to the hundreds of millions of consumers who happily continue to use products from (or who ARE the product for) Amazon, MicroSoft, Facebook, Google, and X. It takes effort to leave those familiar products behind, and most are too busy or too lazy.
I'm aware. I'm talking about how things should be, not how they are. Strive for a better world.
