In light of things that have been going on, I thought I'd put on my old IT hat and give a few pointers when it come to collabs, files and security. Sadly, it seems some are taking advantage of using other peoples' files, so maybe these will help. I'll start practicing these things, too.

If you share files by sending them directly to people such as Discord, delete the message containing the files later that day. This will keep them from redownloading your files without your knowledge. If you're using a messaging app that doesn't allow this, don't use it. Never use SMS or Email.
If you share your files using cloud storage (Google Drive, Dropbox, MediaFire, etc.), password protect your folder. After you share this folder with someone, change its password later that day. This helps keep people from helping themselves without your knowledge even if the link is shared around.
Still, once your files are on someone else's drive and they decide to keep them, you no longer have any control over them.
The most secure way, really, is to get to know the person and do collabs in game before sharing your files. While planning can be hit or miss, patience is a virtue.
