I have to be brave. This is a new experience for me working at the post office.
USPS came thru when I was laid off by phone co. Failed City Carrier cuz I couldn’t back-up the vehicle using mirrors. Failed mail handler job cuz I kept jamming the machine. Finally got job I wanted, working the counter @ small office, selling stamps, sorting mail. After a year, phone co rehired me.
Dec 10, 2025 00:20Working the counter was a fun job that fit my personality & physical condition; cuz at 60, & after 17 years sitting at a phone co computer, I wasn’t in shape for physical work, & the office was just 5 minutes from my house.
The P.O. came thru in the clutch, so I hope it works out well for you…..
