Utterly bizarre sometimes to read a book you know inside and out -- but in ebook form and clearly re-edited by someone who didn't know the author or their dialectic/period-typical/personal quirks.

When it's clear the new editor just didn't understand what was written tho...
Or. Like. Maybe look up the term lése majestée before you just replace it with "less majesty," what the hell, man.
