- Utterly bizarre sometimes to read a book you know inside and out -- but in ebook form and clearly re-edited by someone who didn't know the author or their dialectic/period-typical/personal quirks.
- Love it when I find an edit for correctness (make a Christie book slightly less racist! PLEASE) or clarity or a typo that's bothered me forty times in the five different hard copy editions I've read since childhood. When it's clear the new editor just didn't understand what was written tho...
- Or. Like. Maybe look up the term lése majestée before you just replace it with "less majesty," what the hell, man.

- Desperately wishing that people who do not want to immediately clean their cast iron pan (my employers) would stop using it every two days.
- Ground beef that had sat cooked on overnight took three separate internet tips, a delivery of a specific utensil, and an hour and a half of active working on it plus an extra hour of cooling time. It's in my contract I'll do the dishes but this is A BIT MUCH. You have four other frying pans!
- Tripped on the babygate and went ass over elbow in a splits position down eight stairs yesterday. Walking is gonna SUCK today
