- Hi! I'm restarting my project to cartoon and post about cool animal - microbe symbioses. First up, Burkholderia bacteria, the symbiotic "superheroes" of Lagria beetles. I did my PhD work on identifying mechanisms that help this ectosymbiont establish in the host :) #SymbioSky
