- I'll tell you what, I'm buying the hell out of the "Console Archives" release of UFO: A Day in the Life the second it hits the Nintendo Switch eShop. I already own a copy (OK, two copies) of the original PS1 game, but with this release I'll be able to play it easily + portably whenever I want ^_^
- I'm sure many others have already said this, but "The Adventures of Elliot" sounds to me like a 6/10, Japan-only PC Engine or PS1 game.
- You know, that PARANORMASIGHT sequel announcement is going to sustain me for a good while.
- So, how long do we have until folks start calling the Nintendo Switch "retro"? A year? Two?
- Spent a few hours each of the last few days trying to beat the first 4 stages of R-Type without dying. I regularly get through the first 3 like this, but I always find a way to fuck up on stage 4. Anyway, finally did it a little while ago. Yay me!! :D
- The main reason I've been doing this is so I can go into stage 5 with a fully upgraded ship. A good side effect of all my hard work has been to improve my skills RE: the stage 4 boss, who I had struggled to beat regularly. Now I beat it pretty much every time on my first try ^_^
- Before I started all of this, I put quite a few hours/days into improving my skills on stage 5 overall., so now I can whiz through it with my fully powered ship. I occasionally still die in stupid ways to the stage 5 boss, though. Oh, well, baby steps...
- It's currently hard for me to imagine whizzing through stage 6 of R-Type, but the fact is, I previously never thought I'd get through stage 4 or 5, so I'll do my best to remain positive about my chances of not only beating stage 6, but the whole damn game :)
