- If ever there was a week where I needed a significant other, this would be that week.
- We are having family dinner tonight so after uncle’s service we don’t have to stay. My mission is to find my other uncle’s resting place.
- It’s so not right how cold my uncle is. He’s supposed to say “come ova here knucklehead” and hug me like I was his boy and not nephew.
- My uncle literally looks like he’s taking a nap and I want him to wake up one more time for his baby sister. I really hate how illogical grief makes you because I know that makes no sense at all.
- I gotta find my twin, Uncle Alfred’s resting place for my mom. We weren’t able to get home before his funeral because of his faith traditions. I gotta spend time with my Aunt Carrie since I couldn’t get to her funeral.
- There’s a leak in this old building by Lashaun Pace is playing and I’m having a hard time. I really need this song to end.
- I don’t know how some of these social media d list wanna be celebrities post pictures at wakes, viewings, and homegoings. I feel absolutely terrible taking pictures for my mother & aunt of THEIR brother in his casket. And my uncle looks good with a smile across his face. But still.
- Please don’t mind my next few posts. I’m grieving but I need to clear my mind on something yall don’t care about.
- My auntie’s memory has gotten worse since I last saw her. Mom has lost her 3 older siblings and her eldest sister is losing her memory Im takin them both home to lay their last brother to rest today. My mom is going thru it. I know she feels like she’s lost all her family now.
- Yeah and she just said her sister is worse than the last time she was here a few weeks ago.

- Okay so I’m hitting the angry stage of grief.

- I wanted to go buy three books but this funeral trip is taking all my play money. It’s all worth it tho to make sure my mom can put her big brother to rest and honor her other brother in his final resting place. Those books will be there in March.

- I keep telling myself “I just need one more raise” and I’ll have the extra income to get a new car but every time I get one my cost of living increases. This can’t be the same America my single mom raised 3 kids on in a 4b 2b w/ a 1/4 acre of land in a golf course community.
