- after reflecting over recent events and realizing just how much everyone's moods were rapidly deteriorating (rightly so, companions had been lost after all), robin decided to try and bring some comfort to the people with the tools at hand and put his bagpipe to good use. +↓ #makarsburgh
- he practiced the instrument in the furthest accesible corner, so as not to bother others while honing his skill, gauging what worked and what didn't. a few hours later, he felt decent enough at it and started making rounds to check in on others, announcing he'd be performing in the great hall. +↓
- he wasn't the greatest musician yet and a few mistakes were made during the performance, but he poured his heart and soul into a soothing tune in hopes everyone trapped in the mysterious castle could feel at least a little less hopeless, making sure they felt welcomed to reach out for help if needed
- i just finished act 2 of the lantern rite and i must say: xiao has made so much progress, i love him so much, he's my baby </3
